Sheriff Tim Soignet is asking for the public’s assistance in locating four suspects that have been identified in connection with a February 8, 2026, shooting incident, which occurred in Gray, La.
Through further investigation by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Division, Detectives have secured arrest warrants for the following suspects, in connection with the investigation:
· Essence Galloway, 26, of Ocean Springs, MS, is wanted for charges of Accessory After the Fact to Attempted First Degree Murder.
· Torie Lewis, 25, of New Iberia, La, is wanted for charges of Attempted First Degree Murder.
· Travon Lewis, 24, of Thibodaux, La, is wanted on charges of Attempted First Degree Murder.
· Dwayne Gaint Jr., 24, of Baton Rouge, is wanted on charges of Attempted First Degree Murder.
Sheriff Soignet considers each of the suspects to be armed and dangerous. Do NOT attempt to make contact. Only law enforcement should approach these individual.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of any of the suspects named is asked to contact Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives at (985) 876-2500. Tips may also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers Bayou Region by calling 1-800-743-7433, visiting CrimeStoppersBR.org, or using the Bayou Tips mobile app. Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 if information leads to an arrest.
ARRESTED PERSONS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
