The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office originally released preliminary information on August 26, 2025, pertaining to an investigation which led to a chase of the suspect, ending in a serious crash near the intersection of Hollywood Road and La 24 Main Street.
Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced the arrest of Christian Jabiri Jackson, 28, of Houma in connection with the incident, after his release from an out of area hospital.
Since the time of the incident, Christian J. Jackson has remained under the supervision of TPSO Authorities, until his release from an out of area hospital. At the time of Jackson’s release, he was transported and booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex on charges of Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property, Reckless Operation of Motor Vehicle, Aggravated Obstruction of a Roadway, Simple Criminal Damage to Property, Stalking, Resisting an Officer, and an additional traffic related offense. Jackson remains jailed on a $117,000.00 bond by local judges.
The Deputy involved in the crash incident, received medical treatment at a local hospital, and has since been released.
