The main duties of the purchasing department:

Supplies and tracks all equipment given to deputies

Advertises and executes all bids-such as Food for prisonersselling of

Selling ofdrug seized vehicles and sheriff's office vehicles, uniforms, & the purchasing of vehicles

Process insurance claims on accidents involving department vehicles

        Purchase and distributes office supplies to all departments

        Provide inventory information spreadsheets for accounting balancing purposes

        Approve and process all invoices for payment
