The Sheriff's Office is responsible for staffing the Terrebonne Parish Jail in Ashland, LA. Major Mitch Dupre oversees his staff, responsible for over 600 prisoners currently housed, in the areas of transportation, trusties and Release and Recon programs. The jail is a modern, state-of-the-art facility, designed with input from the former Sheriff Jerry Larpenter.
